Humble Beginnings

Our History

Founded in 1985, Ward Chemical Incorporated became the first company to join the Korchinski Group in 1996, when Allan Korchinski purchased the interests of his four partners.

When the Korchinski Group was first founded, it had only 6 employees. Today, the Korchinski Group employs more than 60 dedicated workers.

Now rebranded to Ward Chemical, this company is a division of Calcium Incorporated and focuses on the manufacturing and sale of calcium chloride to the oilfield and mining industries.

Kortech Calcium Services, a division of Calcium Inc., was the next company to join the Korchinski Group. Kortech focuses on the sale of calcium chloride products and applications to the Road Sector.

While calcium chloride can benefit a multitude of different industries, the Korchinski Group’s typical market share includes oil and gas companies and corporations, municipalities and other government organizations, and any public organization responsible for the building and maintaining of roads.
